Storyline

Tom, a young and idealistic left wing journalist, is about to settle with his girl friend when his life and views get shaken up by the young and beautiful Pakistani refugee Nadia. At work his ideals are more and more confronted with the harsh reality of modern urban society, while his flamboyant grandfather fights his last personal battle - a battle for his right to die. Cut Loose is a funny, heartfelt and emotional film about very serious issues. Cut Loose is the first comedy about euthanasia and the confusions of the multicultural society.

funny and real

I had the opportunity to see this film in a test-screening today and I must say I enjoyed it a lot.

The movie is about multi-cultural societies and a love between a 'scared white man' and a colored girl in the beautiful city of Antwerp (Belgium).

The performances overall were good and some new actors are featured, Pepijn was casted very well for this role and his comments in between are very amusing. A film with a lot of humor and a realistic setting which is very recognizable. I also enjoyed the music a lot, which seemed to fit perfectly.

A must see!
