Sex & Nudity

4/10

In the 3rd series, Jake has a crush on this "Kelly" and in one episode, he looks at her cleavage.

There is a 3 minute discussion where a Mother and Father are talking about how they never get to have sex. (Series 2, Episode 7)

Violence & Gore

Profanity

5/10

In the 2011 Christmas Special, Pete says 'Oh Fuck!' in front of his children. This is the only the F Word has ever been used.

B-tch is said in many episodes.

A little girl (about 7) is seen sitting on the stairs telling Karen's parents that her (the little girl's) mom "said the F-word and the K-word".

One episode contains arguing between the mom and her sister, and they're swearing alot, but then Karen comes down to them (she's about 5-6 in that episode) and says: "What are you doing?" then the mom replies: "Um, we're in a game that we're supposed to swear as much as we can at each other, and the one to swear most wins. Wanna join us?" And Karen says "No thanks." Then they continue arguing.

4/10

A man is seen smoking in front of an 11-year-old.

Adults drinking wine at a dinner party.

Pete is seen in the bathroom very pale and sick after drinking so much last night and he had made out with another woman, cause he was so drunk.

2/10

In one episode Karen is hit by a car. The incident isn't seen though and she only suffers minor injuries.

Some episodes with Sue's dad could be upsetting because he suffers with dementia

Overall: 14/50

Suggested rating: PG-13 for brief language and sexual references.

Okay for 12 and up.

12+ for occasional sex references and moderate language
