The most strong man in the world
carlos-diviesti14 December 2020
This movie brings clear the father's legacy for his son, because the observation of our lives by another one is a matter for brave men. And a brave man allows his contradictions to the surface, too. That's EL CAMPEÓN DEL MUNDO, a documentary feature about a human being who don't hide when life urges him to be a man.

Touching, Insightful and Honest

Warning: Spoilers
Antonio Osta impressed me as a man of high talent, intelligent and perceptive in a way that transcended his bodybuilding career. Seeinghim as a parent, a businessman, a witness to his own life and a very loving father impressed me and drew me into his life. I was shocked to learn at the end that he died so young. His relationship with his son was loving, conflicted, frustrating and always totally engaged. Witnessing him trying to deal with the challenges that life had handed him was moving and at the end, tragic. The film invited us into his lfie as witnesses to his struggles as he tries to figure out a path forward and analyze his own life and decisions and experiences. It's what we all do; it's so sad that his life was truncated that way. I liked the man immensely and respected his kindness to his son and his household animals. He was a generous and loving person and I liked the film as a picture of a life well lived under the presssure of circumstances oten beyond his control.
