Well, if the rest of the season is going to have bizarre stories like this opener, I'll be on the lookout for some real weird but fun-to-watch episodes.

In this one, we have a killer who is quite interesting about how he commits crimes. The bad news is that, with a dozen or so minutes left in the episode, it's obvious who it is, so there is no surprise. The only people surprised are the CSI cops who didn't see it until the very end.

Nonetheless, it was an entertaining opening show, and it's good to see all the regulars back for a fourth season.

The real bizarre part was seeing a crime committed on the Statue Of Libery and blood running down the famous landmark......lots of it. That picture seems to be the one that sticks most in my mind. That, and "Mac" (series star Gary Sinise) getting crank calls over and over, each time at 3:33 in the morning.

Overall, the story might have had some glaring holes and unanswered questions it it, but the story was an intense one and, thus, entertaining.
