Donovan can act
29 February 2016 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

Let's be honest.

BURN NOTICE is one of those "finds" for lucky viewers.

A solid series, fun, action, nice characters, good scripts.

You can see why it developed a loyal fan base over 7 (count em, 7) seasons.

But this episode is a standout because Donovan actually gets to act.

You see, Donovan is one of the many many stars who connects with one hit series and you basically never see them again. (Think a male version of Anna Torv, which is a really bad idea to start with).

Sometimes you watch these one-hit-wonders and you wonder what else they have in them, what Stallone in ROCKY BALBOA called "something left in the basement." Guess what. He can act.
