Shawn MacArthur, the kind-hearted son of an Alabama wrestling coach, makes a grim living selling fake products on the streets in New York. After dealing with thieving punks, he's discovered by bare-knuckle/street-fight manager, Harvey Boarden. He soon proves himself worthy and starts earning a small fortune, part of which he volunteers to spend on single mother Zulay Velez. We're going to sit down, people. And these two gentlemen are going to go toe to toe, blow to blow. Whatever goes on up here, whatever. Whatever you do to each other, whatever. Whatever you say to each other, whatever. In the words of the late, great, American poet, Mr.Marvin Gaye, "Lets!... Get!... It!... On!"

I went to see this movie with my girlfriend (she loves Channing, I cant stand him). While we watched during the dramatic scenes I couldn't help but laugh. As me and my girlfriend watched the horrible acting and the bad fight scenes I couldn't help but notice the Mic displayed on top of the screen. Any movie where you can actually see the Mic can not be good. And to not even edit it out before releasing in theaters really makes me think the director wasn't even trying to make a good movie. He definitely succeeded in making me never want to see another Channing movie again.
I definitely will never recommend this movie to anyone. The funny part is my girlfriends friends liked the movie... which caused me to question their intelligence. I will never listen to them anymore when it comes to movies. A good 20$ wasted on a horrible movie. So bad it actually made me depressed.
I do not care what anyone says. This movie wasn't worth 25 cents. Through the entire movie me and my girlfriend were like should we leave? but since we had paid we sat there and laughed through it all the sad and dramatic sequences were hilariously bad.
