A new spin on Jekyll and Hide!, 13 December 2009

In my opinion this film is far better than the rating on IMDb and I consider it worthy of at least a 6 or a 7, and I have chosen the latter. It is an entertaining drama which keeps the viewer engrossed throughout and for anyone who says something like the story is ridiculous, well take a look at Harry Potter. A successful business woman in a loving marriage acts on 'impulse' to have a brief liaison with someone who is the spitting image of her husband. He it transpires is crazy and wants more, she realizes her mistake and wants out. Things spiral into pure melodrama thereafter. The lead actress Willa Ford gives an excellent performance and is eye catching and convincing.

However pride of place goes to the male lead one Angus Macfadyen who steals the show and has a impressive performance CV.

A great feat of acting to portray a goodie and a baddie at the same time and this actor's accomplishment is to subtly portray in each character the good and the bad. A portrayal which is extremely well done.

Add to the picture a clever script then all in all this is a superior movie, well worth a look!
