This F8, after the latest elimination, is the weakest in a loooooong time in terms of good strategic players - maybe since One World, 15 seasons back. Goats Galore (the biggest probably being Dean - a comically bad player who thinks he is a "threat"). The mind-boggling "7-person alliance" didn't even bother to split the votes 4-3; to quote Shii-Ann: "Stupid, stupid people. Let me just say that again: stupid players". Meanwhile, 1 person at the minority correctly plays an idol - BUT targets the other person in the minority, instead of someone in power! Stupid. Even the person who goes home, who AT LEAST targets someone in the majority, targets its member with the least authority in it - a follower. Basically the equivalent of this episode in, say, Cambodia, would be Kelley playing her idol and voting out Ciera! The winner is blatantly OBVIOUS - has been from the first episode, really, check my comments there - and frankly I find his obviousness insulting to the viewer's intelligence. *** out of 4, because even bad Survivor (which this episode cetainly was) is good Survivor!
