I'm a huge fan of Angel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer(the series) and Forever Knight. Now these are great vampire shows! But CBS has decided to make their own show without rehashing these favorites and it's a bold move. I find the lead Mick a wonderful concept but Alex O'Loughlin simply is not strong enough to pull it off completely it seems as if he doesn't take his roll seriously enough to be a "dark and brooding" vampire with mortality issues. The plot is a little thin it feels as if they started the series without the foggiest on where it was heading and how it was getting there. But I find myself tuning in every Friday though as the story has me hooked just to see where they're going with it. Only now they've stopped development. I wonder if this will be like the werewolf series WolfCreek CBS started and discontinued just as it was getting interesting...
