Own the rights?
A very insightful documentary about Joel-Peter Witkin. It was great to see his thought process behind a few of his more popular art pieces. Maybe it was the version I've seen, but the quality is not all that great. Its hard to see the detail of his images. Maybe this needs to be redone in high def, so you can see the detail that he takes the time to make sure is in his art. The detail is the only reason I gave the film a 7, if you were able to see the detail in the film, I would rate it much higher. If you have heard of Joel-Peter Witkin, then this film is worth watching. Especially if you are familiar with his work.Maybe there should be an updated version?? He's still alive and in New Mexico, right?
