The Absolute One (Sh'ma), called God, the I Am, whose man(ifestations) humankind are, makes himself known by dreams & visions. Those visions depend on the individual's (single, unique aspect of the one indivisible duality of heavenly theory & earthly practice) state of mind in regards to absolute perfection.
According to every single episode of The Dead Zone, the author's (King's) as well as that of the protean character are based on doubt, fear, and other miscellaneous ignorance-based emotions (evil notions leading away from the guidance by feelings) and readiness for violence, which is pretty much the state of any hewn man on this earth today (human, torso void of spiritual limbs - Daniel 4:10 to 17), for hewn men see their enemy on the "outside" instead of in their own mind (Don Quixote fighting windmills).
During every episode one experiences doom, either foretold and altered into a temporal success, or halted by avoidance. If expecting any lasting constructive advancement, one should not watch this lineup of disbelievers unaware that change of circumstances requires first a change of one's state of mind.
