When I first stumbled upon The Betrayed I was drawn in by the premise of the movie. At first it reminded me of a Saw type movie without all the silly antics. I then logged on to IMDb, read some rather positive reviews, and proceeded to gain excitement for the unknown thriller.
After watching I am utterly disappointed. The entire story didn't add up, the critical emotions and behavior that we should see was not there, and movie lacked any resemblance of depth. The writers, producers, and director should have saved this a couple more years, improved every aspect, and made a film that was at the very least watchable. The Betrayed failed to meet my lowest standards. Please stay far away from this one.
