I hadn't heard much about this show before seeing for the first time two nights ago. I'd seen a few ads, but I had no idea what the show was about. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have tuned in since I am not a gamer. I saw the second episode first then this one. Having already been introduced to the characters with the second episode, watching this one wasn't as interesting as it would have been otherwise. Being the pilot, this whole episode is about introducing the characters, there's very little in terms of plot. When new characters aren't being brought in, the rest of the running time consists of the type of crude humor expected in a animated television show aimed at a young audience: poop jokes, sexual slang, and general tastelessness, all of which is surprisingly quite funny. I can safely say I've never seen a guy microwave a turd before in any movie or television show. Some of the jokes don't work as well as they should (the idea of putting Black in front of a black character's name is an old joke by now and a lame joke at that) and the voice work isn't terrific, but this remains the best pilot I've seen for some time now thanks to some sharp dialog and fun ideas. 7/10
