Well written drama. I've personally read the book 'Sheser kobita' from Rabindranath Tagore. I wished if the ending would be fulfilled but it was unfinished. This film was inspired from that book and it is actually a perception of what if Labonno and Amit meet again. The script writer recreated the ending as like as the book very delicately by bringing two characters Kuhu and Akash. Although it was found in some critic sites that this film is exhibiting the following story of the novel but with Kuhu and Akash it recreated the same story as like as the book and with Labonno and Amit it is finally ending their love story when Amit gave her that gift.

In true essence of sheser kobita

I'm yet to overcome the awe I'm in, the movie left me with. It's an amazing piece of melody sung as an extended version of Sesher Kobita.

I liked it may be as I'm and was always in love with Sheser Kobita. I wonder how this script captures the flavour of it this beautifully.

Specially when Sabyasachi starts with parts of Sheser Kobita or when Soumitra babu or mamatashankar ma'am recites from it I went back to my childhood days when for the 1st time I heard them reciting it or when I first time I read the book.

I have already watched it twice back to back in a single day; thus is my love.

My only problem is with kuhu and Akash. I wish these two characters are also played by someone who can recite more properly.
