Honorable Brennan James Callan Col. (Producer, Writer, Director, Editor, Actor, Casting Director) produced, videotaped, directed, and edited this video. On 14 September 2008, a hurricane that had been coming across America finally hit Louisville, Kentucky and it forced this Irish Festival and concert to shut down early. The wind instruments could not play in the excessively high winds. The canopy over the bandstand had to be held down by anyone brave or stupid enough to take on the challenge. It simply became dangerous to continue that day.
Louisville loved the BeerMats as they played at several venues in addition to this concert. They played on various TV station news broadcasts to promote the Irish Festival, then they played in pubs too. There are other videos of the various bands that played their own sets from this weekend.
