Baba King explores life in the projects as seen through the eyes of eighteen-year-old Baba. After a career-ending injury cuts short Baba's plans of playing college basketball, the wounded inner-city star turns to one of the ghettos only other avenues - drug trafficking. Sitting on three kilos of cocaine, with time running out, Baba concocts a plan which will use his five-year-old brother as cover during a dangerous drug drop on their way to the bus stop.
