Original Pink Power Ranger Amy Jo Johnson Looks Back on ’90s Hit

22 March 2017 10:50 AM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

Holy smokes! Here we are 23 years after the inception of your Japanese brainchild, “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.” I wanted to take this opportunity to finally thank you for allowing me to be your original Pink Power Ranger. Now, despite the fact that this was a non-union television series and I was paid peanuts and almost died a few times because of the makeshift low-budget stunts we performed, I am forever grateful. Truly. My time as the Pink Ranger not only became the training ground for my future career as a working actress but also, without even knowing it at the time, a way to inspire thousands of little girls to believe that they can be as badass as little boys. That, in itself, is priceless.

I’ve always wondered if you knew how huge the show would become? Was it a fluke or are you a mastermind? I personally had no idea what was about to happen »

5 March 2017 4:34 PM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Amy Jo Johnson has made quite the name for herself after starring on the popular children’s series Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers from 1993-1995. Johnson, who portrayed Pink Ranger Kimberly on the series, went on to star on such series as Felicity, Flashpoint, and Covert Affairs. Johnson has recently come to embrace the role that made her famous by appearing at several comic con events across the United States, including several with co-star Jason David Frank. Like most Power Rangers fans, Johnson is pretty geeked about the release of the new movie Power Rangers, which will be released in theaters on March 24th. Several cast members were recently on a press

'Arrow' Star and Ep Dish on the Shocking Prometheus Reveal and 'Psychological Torture' to Come for Oliver

1 March 2017 6:00 PM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven’t watched this week’s Arrow! If you know Prometheus’ true identity, carry on.

Arrow’s season five big bad was finally unmasked on Wednesday’s episode, revealing the villainous Prometheus to be none other than Star City District Attorney Adrian Chase!

The no-nonsense Da had seemed to be one of Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) closest allies as mayor, but after a battle with another Arrow unknown, Vigilante, Chase (Josh Segarra) removed his Prometheus mask to reveal his true identity as the cold-blooded killer whose only goal is to ruin Oliver’s life after suffering a loss at the hands of his season one persona, The Hood.

“We really did want to, this season, build a villain that would be a dark mirror for Oliver, in the tradition of the comic books,” Arrow Ep Wendy Mericle explained on a conference call with reporters last week. “Really honoring »

Arrow: What We Can Expect Without Flashbacks In Season 6

22 February 2017 12:28 PM, PST | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

It has been widely reported that Season 5 of Arrow will be the end of the flashbacks, which retell the story of how Oliver Queen turned into the Arrow and became the vigilante of Star City.  Originally, Season 5 was going to be the end of the show, but luckily for fans the series was renewed. So what will happen now, moving forward into Season 6? EW was able to get a sit-down with Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) and ask him about his future with the show, and what could be done with future timelines.

"I am open and excited about any possible idea, whether that’s a simple flash-forward narrative that we carry through the season, which I think we did to varying degrees of success in season 4. If that means that simply the flashbacks do not exist anymore and it allows us to expand the universe in terms of focusing more on other people’s backstories, »
