Wright is Wrong
MarkLynnIreland129411 July 2022
This is one of those The Bill based around Nikki Wright just like she negotiates with suicidal depressed man in next series, and man impaled with scaffolding pole. However, as it was released on 11th July 2007, I'm giving this review on its fifteenth anniversary. Part two here isn't likeable to me than part 1, much worse despite more views.

She's fired up by her husband stabbed and then newbie Billy Rowan brutally murdered. As a cop, murder investigations should be based on strong evidence, NOT personal instinct. It was quite obvious Wright didn't get a clear identification of Farnham. It's only halfway through the episode eventually they find something only that Farnham has given them the slip.

As much as Sally Armstrong is unlikeable, her actress Ali Bastian is a beautiful blonde close-up of her face. I don't see as how she pretended to have hurt her ankle in tower block scene.

Final appearance of Nikki's husband Doug yet he's mentioned in future episodes. So I would've hoped Nikki lose him as well even as she ignored him warning her not to stop Farnham from ending himself in his daughter's apartment flat.

And when Nikki meets Billy's ma, Chrissy, I totally skipped that part. Even when actress as Chrissy again comes onto The Bill as Sandra Marks in next series as family victims of aggregated burglary done by Stone's archenemy Donovan. And then she's in series 26 as woman Clarinda who Stone defended from Tim Hardacre bloke.

Quite a watchable, yet unlikable The Bill episode!
