Fun Stuff

Trivia:
This episode contains numerous nods and references to the original Transformers cartoon show and The Transformers: The Movie (1986). The main robot-character, Wreck-Gar is voiced by 'Weird Al' Yankovic -- Weird Al's song, "Dare to be Stupid" was played during the introduction of the original Wreck-Gar in the eighties. His new incarnation in this episode even claims that he "dares to be stupid". When Wreck-Gar tosses random junk towards Bumblebee, one of those pieces of garbage is the original Wreck-Gar's vehicle mode. The human characters Carly and Spike are obviously based off the characters of the same name from the original cartoon. They wear the same clothes, and Corey Burton even reprises his role again as Spike, just like he did in the eighties. more
