Stormy Daniels' screenplay for this Wicked Pictures vehicle (directed for her by Jonathan Morgan) is ingenious enough to have qualified for mainstream consideration, and plays well. I was unimpressed with the DVD's technical quality, however, with most scenes presented in dimly lit, low resolution format, hardly the stuff that dreams are made of.
Her gimmick is well-handled, as Stormy's character Jennifer hits a significant impasse on a date with Voodoo (as Dave), when she blurts out "I love you" after they finish making love. Both of them are reluctant to make such a commitment, and for the rest of the concise feature they each encounter phantoms of past lovers, who give them plenty of advice on the ups and downs of courtship.
I enjoyed the amusing dialog and situations, directed with a light touch by Morgan, severely hampered by the poor visual quality. Perhaps this script could have crossed over to the mainstream not as a Cinemax softcore movie but rather as a radio play, leaving all the visual sex antics to one's imagination.
