Renee Zellweger Is Now Completely Unrecognizable

Yes, this is really Renee Zellweger.

It's safe to say Renee Zellweger's looking a little different these days.

The 45-year-old actress made an appearance at Elle's 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration in Beverly Hills, Calif. Monday night, and her nearly unrecognizable appearance is shocking to say the least.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you -- this really is what the Bridget Jones' Diary star currently looks like.

Though many speculate that Renee's new look is the result of plastic surgery -- pointing to her completely wrinkle-free face -- she has never addressed the reports.

She has, however, commented on the criticism that she's too thin.

"When you read reports that you are starving yourself or that you are anorexic it's very unfair and disappointing," she told the U.K.'s Daily Express last November. "It's not very pleasant to read reports which say you've gone too far or »

Renee Zellweger: Third Bridget Jones Movie Would Be "Fun"

20 October 2014 7:58 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

If Renee Zellweger is up for doing another Bridget Jones's Diary movie, what's the hold up? "It would be fun," Zellweger says. Sadly, the Chicago star insists she isn't in the loop on the third film's progress. "I have no idea," she told me at yesterday's Als Walk, where she was participating in honor of her longtime publicist Nanci Ryder. "I'm not being cagey. I just don't know." Hugh Grant recently revealed that he has pulled out of the project. "The book's excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different—or the script as I last saw it a few years ago," Grant said in a recent Free Radio interview. "And in the »

Hugh Grant Flees From Bridget Jones 3

Hey, remember how they’re making another Bridget Jones movie? No? Neither did I, until this very moment. Some of that might have to do with the fact that the last film, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, was a sort of poorer cousin to the very good Bridget Jones’s Diary. While author Helen Fielding decided to return to her popular series one more time in the book Mad About the Boy, I think many of us simply forgot about the character. Hollywood, however, has not, and still plans to make a Bridget Jones 3 – but they’re going to have to do it without Hugh Grant.

When asked about reprising his role as Daniel Cleaver in Bridget Jones 3, Hugh Grant informed Free Radio (via Cinema Blend) that he will not appear in the film. The reason for this appears to be script-related:

Dammit, Daniel Cleaver! Hugh Grant will not reprise his role as the shady but sexy book publisher in a third Bridget Jones film, co-starring Colin Firth and Renée Zellweger. "The book's excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different—or the script as I last saw it a few years ago," Grant, 54, said in a recent Free Radio interview. "And in the end I decided not to do it. But I think they are going to go ahead and do it without Daniel." Two years ago, it was reported that Grant was unhappy with the initial screenplay for the follow-up film, which was being put together with the help of novelist Helen Fielding. Then titled Bridget Jones's Baby, the movie was said to focus »

What's a Bridget Jones film without Hugh Grant?!

Say it isn't so!

In what's sure to be disappointing news for fans of the Bridget Jones' Diary films starring Renee Zellwegger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant, Grant confirmed in a new interview with Free Radio in the West Midlands that he won't be reprising his role as the shady-but-lovable Daniel Cleaver in the third installment of the franchise.

"I decided not to do it," the 54-year-old actor said, "but I think they're going to go ahead and do it without Daniel. The book's excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different -- well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago."

Daniel Cleaver doesn't have a track record of being particularly reliable—and Bridget Jones shouldn't count on him for a third film, as Hugh Grant said he won't be in one.  "The book's excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different—or the script as I last saw it a few years ago," Grant said in a Free Radio interview. "And in the end I decided not to do it. But I think they are going to go ahead and do it without Daniel." A third Bridget Jones film has been a long time coming. EW reported that »

Hugh Grant Won't Appear In Bridget Jones 3

12 October 2014 10:50 AM, PDT | EmpireOnline | See recent EmpireOnline news »

It has had trouble landing a committed director, the script has constantly been in flux and production never quite seemed to commence. Now the third Bridget Jones film seems to be without one of its key players. Hugh Grant has said in a radio interview that he won't be appearing in the new film.“I decided not to do it,” says Grant, who played love rat Daniel Cleaver in the film, in an interview with Free Radio in the Midlands (picked up by The Telegraph). “But I think they’re going to go ahead and do it without Daniel. The book’s excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different – well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago.”Despite Grant’s request for script re-writes earlier in the film’s development, it would seem that no common ground could be found and he’s »
