Peter gets the idea to camp with his brothers. Uwe and Manni fetch an old Fiat and visit a toys museum. Sabine brings Manni a tent. Peter checks the caravan. Next day they move the caravan to the camping place with a tractor.
The Ludolfs get an old Lada, an all-terrain vehicle, for free. Manfred copes with his frustration during a monologue with garden gnomes. The brothers drive the Lada into the woods. There they enjoy the bonfire and driving off-road wildly.
Uwe likes to collect old stuff especially car parts. Manfred pimps up a Ford Granada for a rally. In the meantime an inspector pays the car recycling firm a visit.
The Ludolfs prepare a stock-car. For this Uwe (45) is allowed to drive the car during a race like he did when he was a young man. Peter prepares his birthday.
Manny and Uwe blow up obsolete airbags. After 13 years Günter drives a car. But the vehicle has a major engine deficiency. Uwe crashes the car on purpose.
In Dernbach, Germany, the four Ludolf-brothers run a car recycling firm in a unique way. Peter manages the car parts warehouse, Uwe and Manny break down cars while Günter does customer contact. Uwe and Manny discover an old Ford Capri.
The brothers buy an Opel Commodore that is in a remarkable good state. Manfred gives the car a special treatment. He goes for a ride in style together with Uwe. On a closed circuit they test the brakes.
On Uwe's wish Manfred rebuilds a car into a funeral car. Uwe wants to be transported in it as if he were a dead body. His wife Karin finds it too sinister. Manfred visits the graves of his parents and grandmother.
Uwe and Manni empty a Nissan Micra before the dismantling. With Peter they drive in a Lincoln to a farm. Milking cows and cleaning stables. Peter helps cooking. Uwe lets a pig escape. The next day he gets lessons in plowing with a tractor.
