I had never heard of this before and randomly bought it on Amazon.com to push my cart over $25 to get free shipping. I am a fan of horror movies, the lesser-known especially. This truly rocked my world. I thought it would be a cheesy, poorly made movie when in fact it was a terrifying film! I really urge you to check it out!
I don't want to give out any spoilers, but I must say that the performances were beyond anything I expected from actors I've never heard of. Such a delight! - And every time the devil woman (Meena) laughed it sent shivers up my spine. Rest assured, I didn't sleep well after watching this. Meanwhile, the other characters are developed so richly, I am hoping they turn this into a series - it could easily be the Halidead anthology series. Can't wait! (I hope)
The only reason I am giving this film 8 stars (instead of 10) is because the editing is sloppy. Often, the jump cuts and random timing adds to the disconnection of the characters and horror, but often the mismatched hums and background noises are distracting. Needless to say, it still rocks!
