Did You Know?

In the future, the character Andy Goode uses the alias "Billy Wisher"; a reference to William Wisher Jr. who co-wrote and had cameos in the first two Terminator films. See more »

When Derek Reese requires a blood transfusion to survive, Cameron reveals that Sarah Connor is the universal donor, type O Rh negative. They are going to need more blood than Sarah can provide, but Derek has a rare blood type, type AB Rh negative. John requests to be tested, and turns out to be a match, supposedly due to his father having the same rare blood type. This is a biological impossibility, as blood types are determined by mixed dominance, independently assorting alleles. Sarah, as O Rh Neg has the genotype OO. If John's father was AB Rh Neg, then he must have had the genotype AB. John could only be genotype AO or BO, because he must get one allele from each parent. This would give him either type A Rh neg or B Rh neg blood. See more »

[first lines]
Sarah Connor: [narrates] On the night we first met, John's father, Kyle Reese, told me words I remember to this day. He meant them as a warning. I think of them as words to live by. He told me of an apocalypse yet to come. Like a Pandora's box, he unpacked every horror, every evil, every dark thing that haunts our future. He also left me an unborn son, to whom he bequeathed what remained in the box after the nightmares fled: hope.

User Reviews

Reasonable Only
2 February 2009 | by (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) – See all my reviews

John calls the EMT Charley Dixon to help Derek Reese, who is bleeding and near death, needing a blood transfusion. John donates his blood and saves Derek, while Charley asks for explanations to Sarah. Meanwhile Derek dreams with his last days in the future, when his group was captured and tortured by the machines.

In this reasonable episode, Sarah discloses her knowledge of the fate of the human beings to Charlie. Derek recalls in flashback what has happened with his team. Cameron destroys the skeleton of a Terminator, but keeps a part hidden with her. My vote is six.
