"It feels amazing," the "Confident" singer told Et's Lauren Zima at the 2017 Kid's Choice Awards on Saturday. "All I've been doing is focusing on bettering myself. It's been quite the journey, but it's well worth it."
According to Lovato, the biggest obstacle she was able to overcome to get to this point in her recovery was leaning to "surrender," and admit the truth about your vices.
"Surrendering is the most important thing whenever you're trying to battle your demons," Lovato shared. "You have to admit that you have a problem first, and then you can overcome them."

There's no more hiding what kind of movie Camp Rock 3 could be in the future. It's been nearly seven years since fans were treated to Disney Channel's popular movie franchise. And while many of those viewers have grown up into adults, there's still plenty of hope that another installment could be in the works. If and when the opportunity came about to make Camp Rock 3 a reality, would the cast be down? "If it made sense, sure," Joe Jonas shared with Marie Claire. Well if it were up to Joe Jonas, the next sequel would be all grown-up.

In 2008, at age 16, Demi Lovato became a rising star, landing the lead role in Disney Channel’s hit original movie “Camp Rock” alongside the Jonas Brothers, rapidly becoming a teen icon. That same year, she signed a recording deal with Hollywood Records, releasing her debut album “Don’t Forget,” which bowed at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 100. Before the release of the album, Lovato began her own tour, and appeared on the Jonas Brothers’ Burnin’ Up Tour.
Though Lovato’s success was apparent, her internal struggles were largely shielded. In 2011, with a history of drug abuse and self-harm, she entered rehab, where she was diagnosed with bipolar depression. Since her diagnosis, Lovato has been vocal about living with a mental illness and her journey through recovery. She is the spokesperson for Be Vocal, an initiative focused on helping individuals and communities with mental illness advocate for themselves and for others. »

While chatting with Gotham magazine, the Dnce frontman, who dated the "Confident" singer back in 2010, shared his thoughts on Lovato's latest love interest, Mma fighter Guilherme "Bomba" Vasconcelos.
"I think you never get used to it," Jonas says of reading about himself and his friends in the media. "You get a little better at it when there's rumors or you have to deal with random drama -- [like] old exes that are dating somebody new."
"I try to just focus on the good stuff and not obsess over it. It's not as bad as it used to be," he continues. "On the Demi thing, I see she's happy and I'm happy for her. I met Bomba. He's a good guy."
