Quotes

Peter Petrelli: When I had Will against the wall I could have killed him. I wanted to. What if that's who I am?
Caitlin: But you didn't kill him, did you?
Peter Petrelli: No, that's because of you.
Caitlin: It's not because of me, Peter. You're a good soul. I can tell.
Peter Petrelli: What if I open this box and I find otherwise?
[pause]
Caitlin: Do you like where you are right now? Do you like who you are right now?
[Peter nods]
Caitlin: Well then, maybe for now, you just leave it be.

Hiro is no Hero
22 October 2007 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

It can't just be me, one person, a speck on this wide world that is alone in his hatred for Hiro Nakamura. Whenever i say so much as one bad word against his name i seem to be greeted by disgusted faces, maybe i just have to face the fact that the world LOVES Hiro Nakamura. And i have no idea why. Hiro Nakumura may well be the most irritating character ever seen on TV, he looks like a Japanese Timmy Mallet, he sounds like someone who has overdosed on Helium and he behaves like a hyper ten year old. He was bad enough in the first series, but in the second series he is now unbearable especially in his scenes with the equally annoying Takezi, the white Japanses legend.

For this heroes fan, the second series has been a huge let down, a massive flop- the show has slid from its place with the best of 'em- Lost, Prison Break, CSI to the squalor of the rest. Peter is still a wet towel, Claire is still confused and whiny ( still looking mighty fine to make up for it), Nathan is still grumpy, sylar is still alive (how??). And then there's Micah. I grimace at even the sound of his name, the kid is the most boring, annoying, smothering character ever created.

So, i find myself with few characters to sympathise with, there's the lovable big guy- Parkman, the intriguing yet probably boring Mohinder, the mysterious Mr. Bennet and the funny guy Ando.

I'll keep watching but i'm not the edge of jumping ship, heroes takes itself so seriously and thinks it can encapsulate an audience even though not much happens in each episode- i think it will be a matter of time before we all forget.

One more thing, what the hell happened to Claude???? i loved that guy.
