Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When the agent is looking around the Bennet House for Alex Woolsey she searches the closet where he is hidden. She pushes the box in front of the trap door and you can clearly see the flap open slightly even though she is apparently oblivious to its existence.

Well, it's official: Heroes is back

Ever since the let-down of volume 2 of heroes, the show has been struggling to find itself again, and even though Volume 3: Villains started off strongly, it fizzed itself out after about the first half. And now, Heroes has finally seemed to be back to what made it so popular in the first place. And now to talk about the episode. The relationship between Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and her mother, Sandra (Ashley Crow), is probably one of the best mother/daughter relationships I've ever seen, and there is lots of that in this episode. One of the best parts of this episode is the scene where Claire is trying to pass off Alex (who she saved in her previous episode) as her boyfriend. Justin Baldoni (Alex) is perfect in that scene, and hopefully we haven't seen the last of him. As always, Milo Ventimiglia can do no wrong as Peter Patrelli, which is what we've come to expect from arguably the most popular character. In this episode he is teamed up with Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) on a mission to find Daphne (Brea Grant). The whole storyline with these two characters in this episode is simply fun to watch. Sylar's (Zachary Quinto) story in this episode, however, seems somewhat odd. Mostly because of the memories bit. The show is trying to be a little too artistic where it's not really working, and for that matter, doesn't need to be. The other part that's not quite working is the fact that Sylar's father appears to be almost the same kind of person Sylar is. The storyline with the new teenager, Luke (Dan Byrd) following him around works only in certain scenes, but not in others. Not as much in this episode. I know the whole blow-up-another-city bit seems to be too much of a repeat of volume 1, but, on the contrary this could be just what the series needs. We get to see how the fact that so much has changed between the characters and the addition of new characters will show us a whole new story. Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) turning on his own kind has also added an element, and turned Peter against him, quite possibly for good. Overall a great episode. 10/10.
