Storyline

Dark forces older than time itself are on the attack, hell-bent on stopping the dawn of a wondrous new green age. Don't you hate when that happens? Even more shocking: Bender's in love with a married fembot, and Leela's on the run from the law - Zapp Brannigan's law! Fry is the last hope of the universe, recruited for an ultra-top-secret mission. Could this be the end of the Planet Express crew forever? Say it ain't so, meatbag! Written by Anonymous

Trivia

According to David X. Cohen on the commentary track (DVD), the coordinates of the Violet Dwarf have special significance. Part of the coordinates refers to "Mark 948" and when rephrased as Mark 9:48, the corresponding Bible verse (International Standard Version) is: "In that place, worms never die, and the fire is never put out." This is clearly an allusion to the climax of the movie. See more »

Goofs

When Fry gets to the secret society the first time, Hutch hits Fry's head with a bottle and tosses the unconsciousness Fry into the "secret entrance". While getting hit by the bottle Fry loses his tinfoil-helmet and it drops to the floor. But in the following wider shot of Fry the helmet is nowhere to be seen and Hutch hasn't picked it up. In the next scene it is suddenly mysteriously on the bench next to Fry. See more »

i found this final Futurama movie to be very well done in all aspects.the story was great.the writing, and the dialogue were first rate.the jokes were funny.there's just enough action.there was also a lot of suspense and the movie really hummed along at a great pace.when it ended,i was disappointed.i wanted it too keep going.and even if you're not familiar with all the characters, you should be able to follow the story fairly easily.on top of everything else, there's also a good message that's not pounded home with a sledge hammer.anyway, when you add it all up,it's a really enjoyable experience.for me,Futurama:Into The Wild Green Yonder is a 10/10
