70's stoners in Oslo try to hit just one more deal
Atavisten31 January 2011
This is at the end of the 70's, the dreams of the hippies are to some degree still alive, but shadows of the cold and greedy 80's throw it's long shadows into some "idealistic" drug traders.

The movie is an ode to that culture and how it destroyed itself. It is much fun and has funny episodes and characters aplenty.

Joner is great as always, he is one of the most versatile actors in Norwegian cinema. The ever-present Bjørn Sundquist makes a good Stalin-Knudsen, the chief of the drug-police who is omnipresent at the wrong times. Robert Skjærstad from "Junk Mail" makes a good role also as the shady dealer Svarten.

Will these children of the revolution get out of it alive?

Worth the ticket money!

This is first of all a fun movie about two friends sorely holding on to the happy hashish life of the 70's. The lead role Carl, played by norwegian actor Kristoffer Joner is basically carved for this role and he got the details down and out till' his fingertips. While he and his partner in crime Robert unwillingly distributes heroine, they stumble across some fun and more serious problems. Their moral is put to the test and so are their friendship, what is right and what is wrong in their criminal world that they deny to live in? This movie will show you the darker side of drug abuse, but will also let you sympathise with those on the other side of the law. But don't despair, this movie will not leave you depressed
