Storyline

With the town's second murder in a week, Jason is again the number one suspect, but Tara provides him with an alibi. Knowing that both Maudette and Dawn had frequented the Fangtasia vampire club, Sookie asks Bill to take her there as she tries to find evidence that will clear her brother. Both of the dead girls were well known at the club and Sookie meets Eric, the vampire elder. Sam Merlotte seems to have a few eccentricities of his own. Jason buys vampire blood - an aphrodisiac - from Tara's cousin Lafayette and despite clear instructions to never take more than one or two drop at any one time, downs the entire vial with somewhat painful results. Goofs

The "Young Jason" has blue eyes while the the adult Jason has brown eyes. However, the scene is when Tara flashes back to when she was a child running away from her mother and seeking sanctuary with Sookie and her grandmother so it is possible that this is an indication of how Tara remembers the scene rather than being presented as an accurate version of what Jason was like. Quotes

Lafayette Reynolds: Ain't no antidote to V, boyfriend
Jason Stackhouse: When my grandpa was alive, he had gout. And he said just the weight of a sheet on his big toe was too much to bear. So help me God, that's exactly what this feels like.
Lafayette Reynolds: Maybe you should try rubbin' one out.
Jason Stackhouse: Were you listenin' to me?... I got gout of the dick!

Ooooh That Smell, Can't Smell That Smell
20 September 2009 | by (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) – See all my reviews

Sookie finds Dawn dead and Jason becomes the prime suspect and is arrested again. While in the back seat of the police car, he drinks at once the aphrodisiac tube of vampire blood that Lafayette had recommended the maximum of two drops. He has an uninterrupted erection and Tara perjuries and testifies that they had spent the night together. Jason is released and he has to go to the hospital due to his priapism. Meanwhile Sookies asks Bill to take her to the vampire night-club "Fangtasia", where Dawn and Maudette were habitué, to investigate any lead that could prove the innocence of her brother. Sookie meets the creepy Eric, the eldest vampire in the spot.

In "Escape from Dragon House", the painful situation of Jason is very funny and only imagining the draining of blood from his penis hurts. What Sam Merlotte is (a werewolf ?) is an intriguing question after seeing him smelling Dawn's bed clothing and listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd's "That Smell". My vote is seven.
