Storyline

Mack and Denise Rattray get their revenge on Sookie but Bill steps in to save her. Subsequently, Sookie's senses begin to undergo a transformation. She later learns that the Rattrays are dead and the police immediately suspect Bill. She also begins to wonder just how far vampires will go when a leading opponent of the Vampire Rights Act is killed in an accident. Bill agrees to visit Sookie and her grandmother and Tara and Jason invite themselves for the evening. Jason Stackhouse gets to see the video of his evening with Maudette Pickens. The police release him but his experience doesn't dissuade him from sleeping with every woman who will have him. Written by garykmcd

Things start to heat up
14 September 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

There are a couple of really interesting bits in the film that have nothing to do with the story, but make it worth watching.

Many are familiar with the "God hates fags" signs and website. To see the "God hates fangs" sign was a small indication of how this fight for vampire acceptance mirrors the fight for gay acceptance.

I also found the supermarket rag on the table with the headline "Angelina to adopt vampire baby" to be hilarious.

The persona that Anna Paquin puts forth is just so sweet and sensual that anyone would want to eat her up - not just a vampire.

Ryan Kwanten is just too much as Jason. You just can't wait to see what he will do next.

The action is getting more intense, and the relationship between Sookie and Bill (Stephen Moyer) is really heating up.
