The scenes shot in the Seattle Underground were slightly impeded due to the pervasive smell of dead and rotting rats. The smokiness in the scene was from the large amount of incense being burned to cover the smell. Thankfully, the smoke added a desirable atmosphere to the scene, and was left in.
Brittany Quist had to lie on an icy cold cement floor for several hours during the shooting of some of her final scenes. Heating pads, blankets, hair dryers, and cups of hot coffee were used to try to keep her warm.
