Although the flaws of this film are numerous I kind of liked this film. There was poor acting, a very poorly written script, shaky camera-work, and the video looked like they got their camera for $199 from Best Buy. The poorly written script gave a little bit of humor to the movie. Some good examples:
The attacking zombie hand. Were going up against slow zombies. Let's go hide in the bathroom where there is no escape. People walking up to you spitting out blood and having blood all over them – Hey look! Are they still alive? The first lady is about 25 years old. Her son is around 16.
The story: World War IV has caused a worldwide zombie epidemic. Germ warfare has mutated to cause the dead to come alive and become zombies. A plane of important people is heading to an island to escape. The plan crashes. The survivors are now having to battle the people who died in the plane crash.
The positives of the movie are plenty of blood, sliced zombie body parts, and an interesting story. The story isn't well executed but it is interesting enough to keep you watching. It is nice to see some slow zombies for a change too. The movie is somewhat suspenseful and the lead; Brent or Blake Cousins, can't act but he has a hell of a lot of charisma. He is a poor man's Bruce Campbell.
Overall, this is going on my list of guilty pleasures. It is a bad movie that is a lot of fun to watch.
