If you've enjoyed watching the adventures of Ichabod Crane, then you may be sad to hear that Fox has canceled Sleepy Hollow after four seasons.
Multiple sources, including Variety, have confirmed the news of Sleepy Hollow's cancelation, which suffered low ratings in its fourth season that aired from January–March of this year.
The show's fourth season was shorter than its previous installments (13 episodes compared to the usual 18) and featured a core cast transition following the departure of Nicole Beharie after the third season.
The series premiered in September of 2013, introducing viewers to a new take on Washington Irving's classic short story, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Tom Mison starred as Ichabod Crane, who was transported from 1781 to a modern-day Sleepy Hollow. Creepy carnage ensued as the Headless Horseman and other evil entities terrorized the community.
At this time, there is no news regarding a potential pickup of »

Fox has cancelled the supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow after four seasons. The network made the decision after a ratings slump with its lowest-rated season yet this year. The fourth season came back with a 13-episode order, down from the usual 18 of the previous season, meaning the writing was pretty much on the wall for the show’s future.
Sleepy Hollow saw Ichabod Crane resurrected in 2013 to renew his battle with the Headless Horseman. Together with officer Abigail Mills, they fought off hordes of demons to stop the Horseman and his evil master from bringing about the end of the world.
The show faced some changes throughout its time on television, including a change of showrunner and the departure of Nicole Beharie as Mills in the third season finale, leaving a very different fourth season in its wake. One of the other challenges for Sleepy Hollow in its fourth season was the move to Friday nights, »

I have said, via social media, that it would be great if Sleepy Hollow could get back to its Season One glory. Tonight’s episode shows that it’s on the right track. Though with thirteen episodes (according to Wikipedia), it’s hard to tell whether it will withstand the test of time. Aside from that, let’s get on with the review, shall we? The hour began with Ichabod going apartment hunting. The place doesn’t seem to live up to the newspaper listing, but nothing ever is. Ichabod ended up taking the apartment after Jake said that the rent is cheaper than the

I’ve got to give it to Sleepy Hollow‘s Diana: Despite all of the revelations heaped upon her this episode, she really keeps her head.
