This was just atrociously bad...

Well, I tried to get into the groove of this 2017 Thai comedy, but I just couldn't.

First of all, the movie's storyline was just a scrambled mess of a storyline. There wasn't really any particular coherent red line throughout the course of the movie, and it felt more like a bunch of randomly shot scenes at random locations that director Pariphan Wacharanon collected and made into a movie.

For the love of me, then I couldn't even relate to a single character in the movie. Perhaps because they were all over-the-top cartoonish or just downright boring and pointless. None of the characters in "Nai-Kai-Jeow" (aka "Eat, Play, Laugh") were more than one-dimensional cardboard cut-outs. And the movie was suffering terribly from that.

And it didn't help much that almost every single scene throughout the movie was weighed down with annoying sound effects taken straight out of a 1980s early morning cartoon. Those added sound effects just made it unbearable to sit through an already hideous movie.

I managed about halfway through the ordeal known as "Eat, Play, Laugh", then I gave up out of sheer and utter boredom. This movie failed to entertain me on any level. And believe you me, this is not a movie that I will ever return to watch the rest of.

My rating of "Eat, Play, Laugh" lands on a more than generous two out of ten stars, based solely on the production value of the movie.
