Just awful!

This isn't about anything gay, it's about a pervert! And it's gross! Why is it on a Boys On Film DVD?

The weird sort of crap you find on channel 4 at 03:00 in the morning or if you delve too far on YouTube.

I suppose it was something to fill the disc with and contribute to the "Pacific Rim" element of Boys On Film 6, because it was made in Australia.

Ron the Zookeeper and News! are both hilarious animated shorts from Ron Prendergast

On the Cartoon Brew site, Amid Amidi showcased from YouTube a stop-motion animated short called News! by Rod Prendergast. I found that one quite funny so I looked up on IMDb if that was listed here. It wasn't but the one I'm now reviewing was so I went back to YouTube to see that one. In this one, the title character is trying to find a way for grey pandas to avoid extinction since the one he's standing next to is the only male one left. Sushi-this last grey panda-is more interested in reading the paper and besides, the one he loves is too diseased to make love to so Ron tries various ways to get him a "stiffy" like giving him a panda porn magazine (which Sushi doesn't like since it has Black pandas), or a bottle of Viagra. I'll just stop there and just say how hilarious this and the previously mentioned News! was. The whole thing of both was just sooo ridiculous but also so over-the-top that I just couldn't stop laughing. So on that note, both News! and Ron the Zookeeper are well worth seeing. P.S. Mr. Prendergast has voices in both shorts (he's Sushi in this one). Oh, and Marc Gallagher, not Ben Matthews, is the voice of the title character.
