Storyline

Bud Merrick and Jack Kirch rob area merchants at gunpoint, roar off on their motorcycles, then elude roadblocks by loading the two-wheelers into a closed truck driven by Grayson (their leader). They rob a residence and escape with $10,000 cash, but a telephone lineman spots them loading the motorcycles and notifies the Highway Patrol. Dan Mathews and his officers chase the suspects onto a rural network of dirt fire roads. Grayson hijacks a fire marshal's truck and sends Merrick and Kirch off on their motorcycles. Wearing the marshal's uniform, Grayson attempts to misdirect Dan and his officers. When the effort backfires, Grayson is captured and Merrick and Kirch find themselves bottled in on the narrow and treacherous fire roads. Written by Sam Spear
