Storyline

Our episode opens off-Broadway, where correspondent Tony Sawicki takes us to the premiere of a new Queer romantic comedy called Boys Just Wanna Have Fun. The production was written by Anthony Wilkinson, who also plays the romantic lead. The story, which follows the success of Wilkinson's first hit, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, is about a Gay undercover police officer who falls for the local heart-throb while investigating a drug ring at a Staten Island Gay bar. The club, called "Potions," is populated by a cast of zany customers including a comical Fag Hag and a pair of fierce Drag Queens. Meet Wilkinson and actors Tom Baran, Kevin McIntyre, Randi Kaplan and Chad Kessler, and hear what they have to say about their roles in this colorful show that celebrates 80s pop culture. Next, the cast of Under the Pink Carpet joins their Diva correspondent Clover Honey at a unique Manhattan restaurant where dining is a Drag and the waitresses are also the stars!
