Director Michaline Babich says, "It was 2:00 in the morning and it was our last shot of the night--we're about to film our sex scene--when, from next door, the guys started playing loud music. So, I tipped over to the fence to ask them to turn their music down, but when I looked over the fence, it turns out they were having a sex scene of their own. I turned around and said to the sound guy, 'We're going to have to work around it.' And I think he did a pretty good job."

Originally called "Solace", this film was changed to "King of Swords", probably to avoid confusion with the thousand other Solace films. Winner of the 2007 Fort Worth Film Festival Best Dramatic Short, it stars Joe Tuccio as the gay, young, hottie Hugo. Tuccio seems to have done a fair amount of work on Guiding Light and Passions. The film opens with Hugo looking for love in all the wrong places (the internet), and we follow him along on his adventure du jour, or noir in this case. Co-stars James McCarthy and Richard Courtney. Brief nudity. Leaves some questions un-answered, or maybe some answers un-questioned. One of the films included on the "S is for Sexy" collection of shorts video.
