After being told by her mom to be home by midnight, Sam and Andrea are at a bar where a guy tries to pick up Sam. As Andrea shoos him away, Sam realizes she's forgot what sex was like. First, she asks Mom about it who calls it "the happy touch" while Dad calls it "the happy hug". Then, Sam gets mixed signals from Andrea and Dena with Andrea saying to find someone right away and Dena saying wait for someone special. As Sam and Andrea once again go to a club, Sam gets embarrassed first by Dena stopping by and then, because of a fight with Dad about who was the first, Mom coming in. So Sam randomly picks someone that turns out to be a virgin when they go to his place. Just as they are about to kiss, Sam remembers what it was like with Todd. She goes to Todd's only to find him with a woman named Julia. So she comes home with Mom embracing her. Then Sam puts pillows in her ears as her parents have make up sex...A very funny episode of "Samantha Who?" that gives nearly everyone some cleverly funny lines. Barry Watson's character of Todd is perhaps a little too befuddled to really register as amusing but he's starting to grow on me. Jean Smart and Jennifer Esposito come off best here and Christina Applegate is so good playing both her current and former self. And Frank the Doorman is so witty in his brief time. Glad to know ABC gave this show a full season pickup though it's a little sad thinking the WGA strike may impede that. Hope "Samantha Who?" gets continued success!
