Is it just me or did this one seem like a bit of a letdown?
25 May 2011 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

While a sub-par episode of "Pushing Daisies" is still great and worth watching, I just felt this one was a bit weak. I dunno...maybe you will or won't agree.

The show begins with Joel McHale being murdered (not a bad thing, as I always found his shtick on E! a bit annoying)--so at least it starts well. When Emerson and Ned revive him to try to solve the killing (and collect the reward), the dead man says his wife did it. No problem, right?! Well, it turned out he lived in a polygamous living arrangement and there were FOUR potential suspects! So, Olive(?), Ned, Chuck and Emerson all separately interview the wives to determine the killer. But before it all gets solved, another victim turns up--and it's only at a funeral that they're able to wrap it all up.

So why wasn't I thrilled about the show? Well, the plot seemed even more contrived than normal AND the reason for the murders seemed pretty lame. Still, it's very watchable AND you get to see Ned beat up a lady!
