In this episode, Ned, Chuck, Emerson, and Olive investigate the murder of a dog breeder who had four wives. One of whom is responsible for his death. There's also a rival breeder who wants to clone Bubblegum, the dog that the original dog breeder made from each of the dogs individually owned by each of the wives. Meanwhile, Ned explores his feelings for Chuck and Olive after Olive had kissed him in a previous episode...Another wonderful episode of "Pushing Daises" that explores jealousy and the various ways that love touches certain characters. Nice to see Emerson explore the feelings he has for one of the four wives, in this case Simone, while still trying to do his duty (even though his purposes are usually monetary). Loved Olive, in interviewing first wife Hilary, passing off Digby as "Pickle". Great use of dialogue, as usual, though some of it goes so fast I have to rewind to catch some of it clearly. If the writer's strike doesn't end soon, the next three episodes that are set to run may be the last of this season. I just hope they do well enough in the ratings to warrant a renewal next fall. Kudos to everyone at "Pushing Daises".
