More Trailers: Shrek Forever After, The Bounty Hunter, The Runaways

18 December 2009 9:23 AM, PST | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

With new trailers for glitzy, expensive productions like “Clash of the Titans”, “Robin Hood”, and “Iron Man 2″ all hitting the net this week, it’s easy to forget that there were other new movies that also launched their first official trailers. Here are three of the new ones you might have missed over the week. The first one is for the Jennifer Aniston-Gerard Butler action-comedy “The Bounty Hunter”, although IMDb.com has it listed as “The Bounty”. It’s your typical run-of-the-mill “they fell out of love but it takes running from the bad guys to make them fall back in love” movie you’ve seen a few gazillion times before, except this time with Aniston and Butler. Should do well with the ladies if the studio properly uses it as counter-programming for whatever is opening up the same week. From director Andy Tennant, and opening March »

'The Bounty Hunter' Handcuffs a Trailer

18 December 2009 8:15 AM, PST | Cinematical | See recent Cinematical news »

The Bounty Hunter, a movie that sparked a million "Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston Sitting in a Tree!" tabloid covers now has a trailer. It debuted on Yahoo! Movies and wants desperately to be noticed among Iron Man 2, Alice in Wonderland and Clash of the Titans. So let's notice it!

I have to say this for The Bounty Hunter -- it's not The Ugly Truth. Hunter has guns! Guns that are being fired at people! Such glimpses of semi-automatic bliss are a promise of action beyond "Oh my God, I can't believe I ever married You" histrionics. The fact that people are waving guns and crashing cars hints that once upon a time, this may have been a script where the heroine had actually committed a crime (a "cool" crime like stealing cars or robbing banks), skipped bail, and crossed paths with a bounty hunter. Love ensued between two sleazy characters. »

The Bounty Hunter Movie Trailer Goes Live

18 December 2009 2:47 AM, PST | Screenrush | See recent Screenrush news »

Sometimes a film comes along that you just can't muster up any enthusiasm for.

Take Bounty Hunter for example. Sure it's got cute leads in the shape of Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston and a director who knows how to handle this kind of thing with Andy Tennant, but there's simply nothing about it that would make you want to part with your hard-earned readies.

So, it's with utmost apathy that we present the brand-new trailer for said vanilla action-rom-com. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments section - if you can be bothered that is...

Trailer: The Bounty Hunter

18 December 2009 1:12 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

A couple of days ago, I put up a poster for Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler’s new movie, The Bounty Hunter. Today, Yahoo have debuted a trailer for their latest movie.

The Bounty Hunter is directed by Andy Tennant who has brought us movies previously which include Fool’s Gold, Hitch and Sweet Home Alabama. You may start to see a pattern emerging which starts to paint a picture that they’re all the same cutsie style of romantic comedies. Is that a problem, not really, I actually quite like them. I was thoroughly entertained by Fool’s Gold and I think everyone else hated it!

The Bounty Hunter is about a man who is hired to carry out the bounty on his his ex-wife and it should be with us 16th April.

The Bounty Hunter Trailer: Jennifer Aniston Jumps Bail

17 December 2009 8:16 PM, PST | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

The Bounty Hunter seems kind of like Gigli meets The Mexican. I.m sure that.s not what they were going for. But in the movie.s first trailer it.s Jennifer Aniston arrested and transported by her ex-husband the bounty hunter. There.s a lot of fighting and screaming and Jennifer Aniston never seems to change her dress. Eventually someone gets punched in the nuts. The end. I miss the days when Gerard Butler went shirtless. Things just haven.t been the same since he discovered collars and buttons. Still, at least he isn.t paired with Katherine Heigl. Whatever this, thing, is Jennifer Aniston is a step up. Another New Trailer: Butler & Aniston in The Bounty Hunter

17 December 2009 8:10 PM, PST | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

I don't know why, but I have a feeling Jennifer Aniston is going to play the ex-girlfriend in every romantic comedy from now until whenever her career ends (hopefully soon). With that said, here's the first trailer for The Bounty Hunter, a new romantic comedy action adventure whatever-the-hell-you-want-to-call-it that also stars Gerard Butler as a bounty hunter who comes to arrest Aniston (oh what a concept!). I'm not going to say this looks terrible, I just think it looks very typical, too much like every other romantic comedy action movie that Hollywood puts out. If you're into this kind of stuff, enjoy, and if not, try and enjoy it anyway. Watch the first trailer for The Bounty Hunter: You can also watch the The Bounty Hunter trailer in High Definition on Yahoo The film centers on a bounty hunter (Gerard Butler) hired to retrieve his ex-wife, who has skipped bail. »

Buzz Break: Hunter and Huntress

· After making Love Happens and now Bounty Hunter (that's the new poster on the right, click for bigger), I'm more convinced than ever that Jennifer Aniston chooses projects based on one specific criteria: "Does this sound like it could be one of the fake movies from Funny People?"

· They finally caught the guy who uploaded Wolverine to the internet...they just don't know how the hell he had it in the first place.

· Mr. Skin has released his Top 10 Nude Scenes of 2009, and Eva Amurri's stripping skills (which she did not learn alongside her mother) topped the list.

· Sofia Coppola and Thomas Mars are expecting their second child.

· People are protesting Avatar's "heterosexual arrogance." I'm not entirely sure what that means, except that I'm pretty certain "heterosexual arrogance" is a footnote in the new James Cameron biography. »

First Poster For Gerard Butler And Jennifer Aniston's 'The Bounty Hunter'

16 December 2009 6:54 AM, PST | AMC - Script to Screen | See recent AMC - Script to Screen news »

To say Gerard Butler has had a busy year would be a bit of an understatement.  In 2009 alone the actor (whose major break out role was the lead in "300") had no less than 3 major film releases ("Law Abiding Citizen", "Gamer" and "The Ugly Truth") and has 7 other projects already lined up.

His next appearance in your local AMC theater will be along side Jennifer Aniston in the new comedy "The Bounty Hunter ".

In the film, Butler plays a Bounty Hunter (betcha didn't see that coming) who takes on the job of hunting down his ex-wife (Aniston) who has skipped bail.

The first poster for the film has arrived online:

This will be Butler's second romantic comedy, and Aniston's... well... 500th.

The Bounty Hunter’s Poster Gives a Little Attitude

16 December 2009 4:35 AM, PST | WeAreMovieGeeks.com | See recent WeAreMovieGeeks.com news »

And, by little, I mean a very small amount.  In all fairness this concept of taking two people who can’t stand each other and handcuffing them together hasn’t been done in about ten minutes.  Personally, I’d rather watch Laurence Fishburne and Stephen Baldwin hate on each other for 90 minutes than anyone and Jennifer Aniston.  The Bounty Hunter is directed by Andy Tennant, the guy who brought us Ever After, Fools Rush In, Hitch, and Fool’S Gold so you know this is going to feature wall-to-wall action and excitement.

Oh, just check out the trailer, Gerard Butler’s bloody shirt and all:

For the record, I can’t say anything negative about Butler appearing in this film.  In 2009, he’s appeared in Tales Of The Black Freight (voice), The Ugly Truther, Gamer, and Law Abiding Citizen.  He does as much chick stuff as he does hardcore action. »

I’d never heard of this movie until just now, but I’ve never formed a judgment of a film based on its poster so quickly. And good lord is The Bounty Hunter going to be terrible. How can you not even photoshop two people standing on a road convincingly? Would it have been too hard to take them to an actual road? The Bounty Hunter Poster Now Online

16 December 2009 1:40 AM, PST | EmpireOnline | See recent EmpireOnline news »

The poster for The Bounty Hunter, the action comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, has gone online over at Yahoo! Movies, and it’s… intriguing. The central image of Butler, who plays a bounty hunter forced to transport his ex-wife across country, and Aniston handcuffed together instantly brings to mind classic mismatched-or-handcuffed couples road movies of the past, such as It Happened One Night, Midnight Run and, erm, Fled, even if it’s a little static. The splashes of blood on the beleaguered Butler’s shirt also could be a hint that this won’t be the play-safe, happy-go-lucky, PG-13 comedy we were expecting, but perhaps a harder-edged, swearier, violence-flecked effort. Which would seem unlikely coming from Andy Tennant, director of Hitch, especially giving the hugely perky day-glo font.
