The federal government asks for Blake's assistance finding evidence to defend a wrongful death lawsuit filed against the United States when a blind woman is trampled to death by a stampeding her of cattle that Shoshone Indians couldn't control. At the same time, one of the Indians asks Blake's help finding his father, who went missing after the stampede.
