Storyline
Sam and his crew must deal with a 'toxic revenger' when the slime-covered escaped soul of a chemical company's CEO starts taking human lives. Meanwhile, the Devil delivers a copy of Sam's contract as promised... but it's a few hundred pages longer then Sam expected. The Devil also refuses a request by Mr. Oliver to a meeting, while Sam continues to drift apart from Andi after Satan sets him up to look like a bad guy in front of Andi. Written by

In this episode of Reaper, Sam (Bret Harrison) finally gets that contract that he's been longing to look through but it comes at a most inconvenient time and makes him mess yet another social outing with Andi (Missy Peregrym). Will it be worth it? Can he find a loophole in the contract that will allow him to get out of working for the devil (Ray Wise)? We'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, he ends up hardly able to stay upright for more than a few seconds at a time - his clue for the latest soul that he has to catch and send back to Hell. It turns out that he's after a toxic blob, which means that he'll have to go down into the sewers with Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) to help him.
Another highly entertaining episode, "What About Blob" benefits from some highly amusing pratfalls as Sam struggles to walk around while being forced to slip over a lot. Oh yes, simple things please simple minds but I laughed aloud and am not ashamed of that.
Directed by Peter Lauer (who also directed the "Charged" episode), and written by Thomas Schnauz, this hits all of the right beats that fans of the show already know and love. Sock is still the funniest character in the show but the Devil grabs as many good lines as possible and all of the main supporting characters (Ben, Andi, Ted the manager and Mr. Oliver) get at least one good moment while the episode plays out and the overarching storyline continues to progress.
Reaper quickly became one of my favourite shows thanks to the Pilot episode and each subsequent adventure for Sam and co. just keeps me happily hooked.
