Plot Summary for
"Life" What They Saw (2007)

Charlie and Dani investigate the murder of a man who was shot in his living room. They find a vagrant living in the woods just beyond the man's backyard but Charlie is quite sure the man had nothing to do with the murder. When the dead man's neighbor tells them something about her husband, they have a whole new line of inquiry to follow. Charlie's lawyer warns him that under the terms of his settlement, he is not to approach anyone previously involved in his case and that he is to stay away from Carl Ames. She manages to unseal Rachel Seybolt's court records only to find that most of the information has been removed. He does obtain information that convinces him that she was in the house the night her parents and brother were killed and that she saw the murderer. Written by garykmcd
