Storyline

Dan and his editor are part of the 25% news staff cut back announced by ruthless publisher Dennis Ambaucher on Christmas Eve. He flashes back to 1979, when Dennis succeeded his dad Merrit, who died from cardiac arrest, with Livia, who thinks that's what they must prevent. Dan thinks it's to stop his dad Frank leaving home.
