Young Zach doubts his father's assurance that sports will be fun. Aeden Bennett, who Dan got arrested for multiple child kidnapping offenses last time, is released from jail, and out on violent revenge. Dan survives a shooting but leaps back in time to a home where a young boy is locked in, terrified of his atrociously strict father, who 'grounded' the kid all day. It's young Aden, too scared to accept Dan's help. Adult Aeden now attacks Dan's wife. Jack gets a crucial part. Written by

Dan mentions he "came down near the Circle Star". The Circle Star Theater was a performing arts venue in San Carlos, California (near the county seat of San Mateo County, Redwood City and south of San Francisco). Its name derives from the fact that it was a "theater in the round", featuring a rotating circular stage and there wasn't one bad seat in the house. The Circle Star was demolished in the mid-1990s to make way for some dot-com businesses, all of which are now defunct. See more

Katie then asks about her next on-camera appearance being an hour later, her co-worker agrees and tells her it is at 11:21, meaning it is after 10 AM when Katie was talking to Aeden. If the appointment had been at 9 AM, he would have called her over an hour earlier. See more
