Also, Blair is devastated by Nate's actions when Jenny reveals to Blair that Nate kissed her by accident at the masked ball the night before after he mistook her for Serena. Chuck has previously stated in the second episode, Gossip Girl: The Wild Brunch (2007), that he had admired Serena for sleeping with her best friend's boyfriend. In this episode, Chuck sleeps with his best friend, Nate's, (barely ex-)girlfriend (of 20 minutes), Blair. See more »

I love this episode. It's one of my all-time favorite episodes from the first season. It is mostly because Chuck and Blair's relationship comes out of nowhere and it's the first episode where the two start to connect.
In this episode, Serena and Dan's relationship starts to skyrocket when they admit they love each other. When they plan to consummate the relationship, the two are interrupted by Vanessa wanting to spend time with Dan. Meanwhile, Chuck decides to open a night club to make his Father proud of him, which doesn't work at all. Blair is devastated when Jenny tells her that Nate kissed her, thinking she was Serena. Because of this, Blair says she is no longer friends with Jenny. What the hell? She told you truth. How rude is that? Nate confronts his Father about drugs that Nate found. And at the end of the episode, while both being very vulnerable, Chuck and Blair sleep together in his limo.
Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.
