Watching this "Old School" promotional short is actually preferable to sitting through the movie. There are "interviews" with director Todd Phillips, plus co-stars Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and various others. Nobody explains why the film got made - but, to be fair, that would be a daunting task. However, the short does cover the situation and "plot" (such as it is) of the movie well - it was difficult to follow during the screening, because the film is so mind-numbingly dumb. Will Ferrell revels his "streak" was through a small Montrose, CA shopping strip. A citizen of nearby La Canada-Flintridge, I can report that area residents were thankfully spared the sight of Mr. Ferrell's jiggling buttocks - the street was closed.
